02 - The interconnect

Most safety systems record the past. Interconnection is what makes them predictive.

Incidents, near-misses, hazard reports, permits and BBSO cards typically live in separate registers, so unsafe behaviour is only ever explained after harm occurs. Sparrow writes all of them to one event model with a shared taxonomy of location, activity, crew, shift and behaviour category - the minimum condition for a statistically honest prediction.
