Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced EHS Software Development Manager who combines strong environmental, health, and safety (EHS) domain knowledge with a passion for technology. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in EHS operations and a proven ability on interest in software & tech initiatives that enhance compliance, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Development: Manage the design, development, and deployment of EHS software solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Domain Expertise: Apply practical EHS experience to ensure software meets regulatory and operational requirements.
- Team Management: Build and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and product specialists.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with EHS teams, IT, and business units to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions.
- Innovation: Drive adoption of emerging technologies (AI, IoT, analytics) to improve EHS performance and reporting.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure solutions adhere to global EHS standards and data security protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in engineering / technology (B.Tech /B.E).
- EHS Experience: Minimum 3+ years in EHS operations or compliance with exposure to on-ground practices.
- Technical Skills:Strong background in EHS & exposure in Tech Implementation
- Proven experience in deploying or, managing software development projects and teams.
- Familiarity with EHS regulations, audits, and reporting frameworks.
- Add on welcome – Software development exposure (Java, .NET, Python, or similar), cloud platforms, and database management.
Preferred Skills:
- Interest in emerging technologies like IoT sensors for safety monitoring, predictive analytics, and AI-driven compliance tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Add on – Exposure and interest in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
