What is AI BBSO™ software?
AI BBSO™ software digitises behaviour based safety observations - the structured recording of safe and at-risk behaviours seen on the shop floor. Most BBSO tools are a digital version of the paper card: a typed form, in English. AI BBSO™ replaces the form with voice. The observer speaks; four AI engines complete, categorise and severity-grade the observation before it is submitted.
What does AI BBSO™ stand for?
Behaviour Based Safety Observation. It is also written BBS, BBSO, or referred to by the DuPont STOP® card process. AI BBSO™ follows the six-step DuPont BBSO method and the ABC coaching approach unchanged - your auditors will recognise every field.
Is there a AI BBSO™ app that works in Hindi?
Yes. AI BBSO™ accepts spoken observations in 22 Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Gujarati, Punjabi and Odia - including code-switched speech, where a sentence starts in one language and finishes in another. Whatever goes in, the record that lands in your system is standardised English.
Why don't workers report safety observations?
Because reporting costs them a second language, a small keyboard and eight minutes at the end of a shift. Remove the typing and the English requirement and reporting stops being a task. That is the whole design premise of AI BBSO™.
How is AI BBSO™ different from other BBSO software?
Conventional BBSO software validates that a field is not empty. AI BBSO™ reads the observation for meaning, works out what a quality report still lacks, and asks the observer out loud - then buckets it through BucketTheory®, maps it to your corporate standards and life-saving rules, and grades potential severity up to Fatal. Completion happens at the point of capture, not in a back-office cleanup.
Does AI BBSO™ work without network coverage?
Yes. Capture is offline-first with a local store on the device, and observations sync when the phone next finds a network. It is built for process areas, not for office Wi-Fi.
How long does one observation take?
Under sixty seconds, end to end. Conventional form-based BBSO reporting benchmarks at eight to nine minutes. We confirm the comparison against your own baseline during the pilot.
Is AI BBSO™ available on Android and iOS?
Both. Corporate SSO against your identity provider, role-based access by entity, plant and location. Live from 16 September 2026.
Where does our safety data live?
In your own tenancy. Your standards corpus is client-supplied and versioned. Client safety data is not used to train models, and the original utterance is retained alongside the AI-completed text for audit.
Can we trial it before rolling out?
Yes - one plant, one month, running beside whatever you use today. We let the two datasets argue.
